Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how wpaaai.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or use Auto Article AI (AAAI) and related services (the “Service”).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to (a) our website at wpaaai.com, and (b) the AAAI Service, including service pages, billing pages, support, and any API endpoints we operate. It does not cover third-party websites, plugins, or services you may access through links.
AAAI generates content using your own OpenAI/ChatGPT API key that you configure in the AAAI plugin. You can control and monitor your AI usage and costs through your OpenAI account.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account and billing information (if you purchase a plan on wpaaai.com), such as email address and plan details.
- Support communications, such as messages you send to us (contact forms, email, or support requests).
- Inputs for generation that are sent to our Service from the AAAI plugin when you use features such as Smart Support AI or article/image generation (e.g., keywords, topic details, settings).
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Log data such as IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, timestamps, and error logs.
- Usage metadata (limited), such as counts of generation requests, feature usage, and status/error codes for service reliability and abuse prevention.
- Cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and (optionally) analytics; see “Cookies & Analytics” below.
2.3 Content stored in WordPress
Drafts, posts, settings, and generated images may be saved in your own WordPress site (e.g., Posts, Media Library, and the plugin’s database tables). We do not automatically delete content saved in your WordPress site.
2.4 API keys
AAAI requires you to enter your own OpenAI/ChatGPT API key in the plugin to enable AI generation. We do not require you to share payment card details inside WordPress.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the Service (processing generation requests, delivering results, saving plan status).
- Maintain reliability and security (debugging, performance monitoring, abuse and fraud prevention).
- Customer support (responding to inquiries and troubleshooting).
- Billing and account management (plan activation, invoicing/receipts, subscription status).
- Improve the Service (aggregate analysis and product improvement). We aim to use data in a minimized and proportionate manner.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to provide the Service:
4.1 Service providers
- Infrastructure and security (e.g., hosting, CDN, proxy, logging) to operate the Service.
- Payment processing for paid plans (handled on wpaaai.com). WordPress does not process your payment details.
4.2 AI generation
When you use AI generation features, your input (e.g., keywords and settings) is transmitted to our Service and then to the AI provider using your configured API key to generate outputs. The AI provider may process this data to return results. Please review the AI provider’s policies for details.
4.3 Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, third parties, and the Service (e.g., to investigate abuse or security incidents).
Plan management
Plan changes, cancellations, and billing-related actions can generally be performed from the AAAI plugin dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
Alternatively, you may use our self-management page: Self-manage billing.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential functionality (e.g., session, security, preferences).
- Performance and analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve usability (where enabled).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain site functions.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Account and billing records may be kept as required by law and for accounting purposes.
- Operational logs and limited usage metadata may be retained for security and reliability, then deleted or anonymized.
- WordPress content (posts/media/settings) remains in your WordPress site until you delete it.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You are responsible for safeguarding access to your WordPress admin account and keeping your API keys confidential.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing activities.
To make a request, contact us using the details in the “Contact” section. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. International Transfers
The Service may be operated using infrastructure and service providers located in multiple countries. As a result, information may be transferred and processed internationally where data protection laws may differ.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Effective date”. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
